Mirissa · Weligama · Tangalle
Five days combining marine wildlife, golden beaches, surf culture and quiet coastal towns. You'll watch blue whales and spinner dolphins at dawn from Mirissa, walk the sand at Coconut Tree Hill and Secret Beach, take a surf lesson in Weligama, and end at Tangalle's least-crowded stretches — with a private driver handling every transfer in between. Good for couples, families with older kids, and photographers.
Day by day
Your driver meets you at the airport or hotel and heads south along the coastal road, stopping at viewpoints on the way. Check in, then walk down to Mirissa Beach for the evening.
Board a small whale-watching boat before sunrise — Mirissa is one of the few places blue whales come close to shore. After breakfast, visit Coconut Tree Hill and spend the afternoon at Secret Beach.
A short drive to Weligama for a beginner-friendly surf lesson with a certified instructor, then the harbour to watch the stilt fishermen at work. Afternoon free for kayaking or café hopping.
East along the coast to Tangalle, stopping at the Hummanaya Blow Hole en route. Afternoon on quiet, uncrowded beaches, then an evening visit to a turtle conservation centre before a sunset dinner.
Breakfast by the ocean and free time on the beach before your driver transfers you to the airport or your next stop.
